چکیده

We study static magnetic susceptibility $\chi(T, \mu)$ in $SU(2)$ lattice gauge theory with $N_f = 2$ light flavours of dynamical fermions at finite chemical potential $\mu$. Using linear response we find that exhibits paramagnetic behavior both the high-temperature deconfined regime and low-temperature confining regime. Paramagnetic becomes stronger higher temperatures larger values potential. For our range $0.727 \leq T/T_c 2.67$, first coefficient expansion even powers $\mu/T$ around $\mu=0$ is close to free quarks lies $(2 \ldots 5) \cdot 10^{-3}$. The strongest found diquark condensation phase $\mu > m_{\pi}/2$.

Finite Temperature Sum Rules in Lattice Gauge Theory

We derive non-perturbative sum rules in SU(N) lattice gauge theory at finite temperature. They relate the susceptibilities of the trace anomaly and energy-momentum tensor to temperature derivatives of the thermodynamic potentials. Two of them have been derived previously in the continuum and one is new. In all cases, at finite latttice spacing there are important corrections to the continuum su...

Electric and magnetic currents in SU ( 2 ) lattice gauge theory ∗

An oldest and rather popular model of the QCD vacuum is the instanton–anti-instanton media (see [1] and the references therein). It is not clear however, whether it possible to explain the confinement phenomenon within this approach [4], [2]. On the other hand, the method of abelian projections [5] is widely used in numerical calculations to study the confinement mechanism. It is clearly seen [...

Magnetic condensation and confinement in lattice gauge theory

L4 is the extension in Euclidean time, Z(0) is the lattice Schrödinger functional, without the external background field (U ext μ = 1). It can be shown that: Γ[U ] is invariant for lattice gauge transformations of the external links U ext μ , and limT→∞ Γ[U ] = E0[U ] − E0[0], E0[U ] vacuum energy in presence of the external background field. At finite temperature, we consider the thermal parti...

Dynamic SU(2) Lattice Gauge Theory at Finite Temperature

The dynamic relaxation process for the (2+1)–dimensional SU(2) lattice gauge theory at critical temperature is investigated with Monte Carlo methods. The critical initial increase of the Polyakov loop is observed. The dynamic exponents θ and z as well as the static critical exponent β/ν are determined from the power law behaviour of the Polyakov loop, the autocorrelation and the second moment a...

Lattice Gauge Theory

Supercomputers have recently become a crucial tool for the quantum field the-orist. Applied to the formalism of lattice gauge theory, numerical simulations are providing fundamental quantitative information about the interactions of quarks, the fundamental constituents of those particles which experience nuclear interactions. Perhaps most strikingly, these simulations have provided convincing e...
